Feminist Strippers?
As a genuine question, I am wondering what your view of strippers are - from a feminist position? I know there are quite a few different opinions out there…. and am interested to know. I know that if the women chooses it for herself then for some feminists, that’s good enough. For others, they think it represents more than that and runs deeper.
Thoughts?

Or fingernails.
Or brainwaves.
Or if it can hear.
Or if it can write me a letter from my uterus (LOL).
Because none of those things grant it the right to use my body against my will. We don’t have an intrinsic right to life, not one that’s more important than another person’s right to bodily autonomy. Bodily autonomy is simply the most important right we have.

PHILOSOPHY MAJORS?
Is anyone else out there doing a philosophy major?
If so, what do you say when people ask what the hell you’re going to do with it/why you are doing it?
Just curious. =].

PINK FOR GIRLS, BLUE FOR BOYS.
I was reading an interesting artical while at my parent’s for Christmas which detailed that originally blue was going to be the colour for girls (because of ‘purity’) while pink was going to be for boys (strength). This started to occur when dyes first became available as before then, only neutral colours were available for clothing or any other products really. Now, I’m...

swampy- asked: your blog (& you) = A+.
thirtytenten asked: Hey, this is kind of a response to your post "VEGAN HORSE RIDING PART TWO?" I would just like to say that it's nice to see a vegan who is both educated about horses and the 'horse world' and acknowledges that riding can't just be lumped into the category of abuse and cruelty. I'm not vegan or anything, but I've looked at other vegans who have voiced their...

Marinated Christmas Tofu?
I am in charge of bringing some tofu for my families Christmas lunch (they are all meat eaters, but will eat tofu). I want a marinade recipe that tastes great cold (it’s a cold lunch as I’m in Australia) and tastes good with a variety of different salads. All my recipes are too specific to be used in this way…. Any help or advice?

Pit Proud: The Movie has one main goal, to throw a light on the harmful pit bull myth that pits are some kind of dangerous land shark, that they are just “powder kegs” ready to blow at any moment.

Books?
I was wondering if anyone had any good book suggestions for me on the topics of speciesism and how it connects to sexism/patriarchy? Or, just any good books on any of those topics anyway? Would really appreciate it =]!

VEGAN HORSE RIDING PART TWO?
I made a previous post about the morals of riding horses in terms of veganism. It was just a question as I was interested in the reponses, all of which had validity and made great points.
After thinking more in depth about this topic and considering the different views, I hate to say but I think horse riding can only be viewed as a grey area. To re-cap, horse riding for any kind of profit or...
