Why that may be all true, I wouldn’t be promoting this old Greek lifestyle. First of all, they only thought this about male homosexuality. Also, the OTHER and MAIN reason why homosexuality was thought of as superior is because they viewed women so poorly that it was considered more noble to love another noble person (males)… and it was disgusting if you were inlove with someone so weak and stupid (aka - women). So yeah, in this case, the praise for homosexuality is just an expression of sexism.

P.S. - Let’s not forget that men in this Greek time period were also wanting to ‘reproduce’ but they found the reproduction of intelligence, philosophy and art to be superior to physically reproducing because art and philosophy is infinite while a child will not live on forever. This is another reason why they viewed women as second class citizens. Because, women could only reproduce fleeting lives and would never be remembered but due to men’s superior intelligence - they could be remembered forever through their version of intellectual ‘reproduction’.
